Getting started as a business
Three ways to find someone — browse, post a brief, or have an operator shortlist for you — and what each one is good for.
There are three routes to a person, and they suit different situations. None of them costs anything until you actually hire.
Pick the route that fits
- You know what you need and want to compare. Browse the services at
/automationand order directly. Fastest path — you are picking from listings with fixed scope and price. - You know the outcome but not the approach. Post a brief at
/projectsand let experts apply to you. Good when the shape of the work is still open. - You want it narrowed down for you. Submit a brief on the automation hub and an operator shortlists from the vetted bench, usually within one business day. Good when you do not want to evaluate twenty profiles.
How to read an expert's profile
Three things carry real information, and one does not:
- Verified proofs of work. Specific things they built, with evidence we checked. This is the strongest signal on the platform — read the proofs closest to your problem.
- Trust tier and identity verification. Whether they are who they say and how much verified history sits behind them.
- Rework Score. Computed server-side from proofs, delivery record and reviews. It cannot be self-edited.
What does *not* carry information is profile length. A long bio is writing, not evidence.
Your money is not at risk while work is in progress
Paid work runs through escrow. Funds are held when you hire and released when you approve the delivered work — not on a timer, and not at the expert's request. If something goes wrong before you approve, the money has not moved.
Keep hiring, briefs and payment on-platform. Escrow protection, dispute resolution and the delivery record only exist for work that runs through REWORK — an off-platform arrangement has none of them.
If you are hiring more than once
A company account gets you the things that only make sense at volume: consolidated spend across your team, a vendor bench of people you have worked with, seats for colleagues, and exportable scorecards for procurement. That lives under Business Hub.
For a single hire, you do not need any of it.
What to expect on timing
- Direct service order — starts as soon as the expert accepts.
- Project brief — applications usually begin within a day of posting.
- Operator shortlist — reviewed inside one business day, then you approve or reject the shortlist before anyone is engaged.
