How the Rework Pool works
The Rework Pool is a curated program that connects vetted businesses with accepted experts. Please read these terms before applying — they describe how matching, vetting, and free working samples operate.
1. Invitation and acceptance only
The Rework Pool operates strictly by invitation to businesses and acceptance of experts. Businesses do not self-enrol — they are invited after meeting Rework's conditions. Experts are not automatically admitted — they apply and are accepted at Rework's discretion. Participation in the program does not create any guarantee of a match, an invitation, or a sale.
2. Business vetting
Every business in the program is verified against Rework's conditions before it can request work. These conditions include — but are not limited to — genuine intent to pay, demonstrable ability to pay, real and qualified pain points, and overall legitimacy. The complete set of criteria, and the weight given to each, is not disclosed and may change at any time. Rework alone determines whether a business qualifies.
3. Minimum working sample
As a condition of participating, experts agree to provide a minimum working sample — a free, functional deliverable as defined by Rework — so that the matched business can see the work in action and evaluate its usefulness. The intent is simple: the business experiences the value first, and on that basis decides whether to purchase the full service or engagement. The scope of the minimum sample is set by Rework and may vary by request.
4. Expert eligibility
To apply to the pool, an expert must hold the Silver trust badge (a verified identity, verified skills, and verified proof of work) and must list at least one service they will offer as a free trial. Maintaining eligibility — including trust tier and the quality of delivered samples — is ongoing; Rework may remove an expert from the pool at its discretion.
5. Discretion and fair use
Matching, invitations, and acceptances are made at Rework's sole discretion. Experts agree to deliver samples in good faith and to engage honestly with matched businesses; businesses agree to evaluate samples fairly. Rework may decline, pause, or revoke participation for either party where these terms are not met. These terms supplement, and do not replace, Rework's general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
