Data practices for employers including job postings, candidate access, hiring analytics, and enterprise data.

1. Employer Data We Process
As an employer on REWORK., we process the following data categories:
- Company Information: Business name, industry, description, company size, headquarters, website
- Account Holder Data: Name, email, phone number, job title of the account administrator
- Subscription Tier Data: Employer subscription plan level, feature entitlements, usage quotas, billing cycle, and tier upgrade or downgrade history
- Job Posting Data: Job descriptions, requirements, compensation details, location preferences
- Hiring Activity: Application reviews, candidate shortlists, interview schedules, hiring decisions
- SwitchAsses Data: Hiring confidence scores, role-fit reports, candidate ranking data, and bias detection reports generated through the SwitchAsses hiring intelligence platform
- Compliance Automation Data: Contractor classification results, tax documentation records, regulatory compliance checks, and automated workforce compliance reporting
- Communication Data: Messages with candidates, agents, and support team
- Financial Data: Billing information, subscription details, transaction history
- Automation Observatory Analytics Data: Job posting performance, candidate engagement metrics, hiring funnel analytics, workforce trend insights, and predictive hiring analytics generated through Automation Observatory
2. Candidate Data Access
2.1 Data You Receive
When candidates apply to your job postings or when you search the marketplace, you may access candidate profile data including names, professional information, skills, experience, portfolios, and verification status.
2.2 Your Obligations as an Employer
When you access candidate data through the Platform, you become a data controller (or joint controller) for that data and must:
- Process candidate data only for legitimate recruitment and hiring purposes
- Comply with all applicable data protection laws (PIPEDA, GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Implement appropriate security measures to protect candidate data
- Not sell, share, or disclose candidate data to unauthorized third parties
- Retain candidate data only as long as necessary for the recruitment purpose
- Respond to candidate data access, correction, and deletion requests in accordance with applicable law
2.3 Data Processing Agreement
Enterprise employers may be required to execute a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for certain services, particularly those involving EU/EEA data subjects. Contact legal@reworkdigital.io for DPA requests.
3. SwitchAsses & Hiring Analytics
When using SwitchAsses or hiring analytics features:
- Hiring confidence scores and role-fit reports are generated from candidate-provided data and your job requirements
- Assessment results are stored in your employer account and not shared with candidates unless you choose to share them
- Bias detection reports are generated to help you identify potential discriminatory patterns in your hiring process
- Automation Observatory analytics data may be used in aggregate and anonymized form to improve our AI systems
You are solely responsible for how you use hiring analytics in your decision-making process and for ensuring compliance with applicable AI and automated decision-making regulations.
4. Company Profile Visibility
Your company profile and active job postings are visible to registered users of the Platform. Company information you provide (name, description, industry, culture) may be displayed publicly on your company page. Job postings are visible to candidates matching your specified criteria.
We may feature your company or job postings in marketing materials, newsletters, or aggregated marketplace statistics. Your company name and logo may appear in Platform promotional content.
5. Employer Data Rights
Employers have the same data rights as individual users, including access, correction, deletion, and portability. Additionally:
- You can export your job posting data and applicant tracking information
- Account administrators can manage team member access and permissions
- Upon account closure, your job postings are removed and active applications are notified
- Transaction and billing records are retained as required by law
